No matter what I do my cat Handsome always finds his way to the laundry room and pees on whatever clothes that might be on the floor. Its really getting anoying! Is that normal?

i had to keep my cat locked up in one room for a while, then she did it again, so we had to put her in the basment( our basment is not bad, it has heating,rugs, windows, and is very comfurtable.
