i think it depends on your personal taste and your kittys….ive tried many different kinds and i prefer fresh step with oxygen crystals….it does get quite dusty when cleaning and pouring it but i find that it absorbs best with my cat the has very large urine spots…….some people prefer unscented or clumping or non clumping or ones that have minimal dust it really just depends on what works best for you and your kitty…i know some cats dont like the smell of scented litter as they are very sensitive to smells but some cats arent bothered by it….if i switch to a different litter my cat will urinate outside of his box letting me know he doesnt like the new litter..so for us fresh step is the best…i would recommend trying several different kinds until u find one that u feel really does the job…good luck litter hunting!!

You generally want a clumping clay-based litter that is unscented. There isn’t really a “best” brand beyond that criteria. Just make sure you clean the box daily and you shouldn’t have a problem with your house smelling “like a litter box”.
I personally use arm & hammer super scoop unscented because it clumps very well and the baking soda absorbs odors (my cat tends to have, uh, rather stinky poops, so this litter helps get rid of the smell fairly quickly after she does her “business”).
If your cat is declawed though you may need to use shredded newspapers or some other type, though I’d hope you wouldn’t have your cat declawed as it is very painful and damaging to your cat.
If your cat has respiratory problems like asthma you will need to look for a brand that does not create dust. Most clay litters have some dust, though the wood, corn and wheat based varieties tend to be worse for asthmatic cats as they are all common allergens, especially the grains.

Well, I’ve been using Scoop Away, and I think that this litter is pretty good. It is cheap priced, but you will need to buy alot cause it clumps REALLY good around the feces. Try not to get a good for the earth litter because even though these are environmentally friendly, they usually have REALLY bad odor control.

Since I have used most of the litters one time (picky cat that wouldn’t use the litter). It will depend on your cat. If you have more than one cat it is best to get the multipul cats. Right now we use Scoop Away. What I have always liked has been Arm and Hammer, or Fresh Step. Doesn’t mean your cat will like it. We use the clumping litter. It keeps the order down the best for the cheapest price. Don’t go with the clay litter that is none clumping you will not be able to keep the order down. The crystals are nice but pretty high on the pocket book.

I use Fresh Step, but I really think Feline P ine is the best. They don’t have any harsh chemicals or smells in it. They have clumping or non-clumping. I use Fresh - Step clumping. Pick whatever is best for you.

Sorry I wasn't on for like a week. I was busy doing this thing with my friend where we make our own lip gloss and body scrubs.

I think that tiddy cats works realy good but ask daisy she has 18 cats and her house does not smell at all I don’t know how she does it. She takes care of her son, the house, dinner and the cats I hope I can be as good as a mom as she is.

I use the Tiddy Cats System that comes with the pebbles. I like the fact that it separates the pee from the poo. I wish the it would clumps around the poo better but it doesn’t. It does smell after, but I usually clean it after he does his business. It is the only litter that i have use so far since i got my kitty. But I’m not sure which one I’m going to use later on for him.
