i bet u its just hairballs. is ur cat a longhaird cat? my cat has almost the same problem. they make special food for that so mayb just try it and see if ur cat likes it.

if your vet did not give you medication for her to take then go to a new vet. My cat does the same thing and she is on prednizone she takes half tablets every other day and she is doing great she has been on it for over a year now and has been great.
