my cats vet said it might not, though i’ve never gave it to my cats, and frontline might be safe. they were tested on lab animals such as rats, mice and dogs, that cause a breakdown of coordination, labored breathing, lesions of the thyroid, reduced birth weight, and increased birth defects. i don’t mean to scare you in thinking that you’re going to kill your cat, but these are informative cautions about what’s in these pesticide killers. a product that the vet said it so harmful to cats & dogs is Hartz. the powders, shampoos, etc are extremely harmful. we just threw them all out.
but what we use now are botanicles, which are organic products that are safe for both people , cats& dogs, and the enviornment. we use Natural Defense. our cats hate the smell, but it’s harmless. but please read the warning and ingrediant labels on certain products before putting them on your cats. :) read about it in the source link. it’s very helpful. :)
