Every time I give an answer to a question, it says “Duplicate answer detected. Looks like you’ve already said that!” even if I’m the FIRST answer. I don’t get it. Does anyone know why this happens?
P.S. If you see this question twice it’s because I didn’t see it ANYWHERE the first time.

Yes, I know why. I you re-click the “Post Answer” question several times, after it has been posted, the computer tracks the duplicate answer, which results in the ‘duplicate answer detected.’

It’s because you’re double clicking on the confirm answer button. I know it is frustrating, but you have to wait while pushing the button only ONE time. I wish it was much faster though, it takes so long to post an answer!

Ok, I’m only saying this because I didn’t see it before. I just posted this question, and it says “A duplicate question post has been detected! You have been forwarded to the original question you previously posted. ” I wasn’t forwarded to ANY post. Do you know why this happens either?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I didn’t know that. But if you don’t press the button a lot, it dosen’t work, does it??????? I didn’t think it worked.

You just need to be patient. This isn't the fastest website out there. Click it ONCE, and give it time to process.

Mamamia is correct. I found that out like…the 2nd time it happened! but if i don’t double click, then it takes like..5 minutes so i double click anyways..

it says that because its stoping you to copying ur answer twice and ya dont want to do that jonnisgood2 will go off
