when cats are like 8 or 9 can they still have kittens?

First of all, glad to hear your cat is spayed! :)

Yes, older cats can have kittens but it really hard on the cat and they can die easily while giving birth. It’s best not to allow your cat to have kittens at that age, or any age for that matter!

Please Spay and Neuter!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only thing standing in the way of cats having a bunch of kittens is humans, who can prevent over population and spay or neuter. a cat can have over 20 kittens a year, but they can tell the male if she doesn’t want to mate, like back him off. so cats can have as many kittens as they want till they get too old.
