You have to stop listening to old tales about Black cats, Because I have had mine for 21years and haven’t even had a problem at all , The only major thing that has recently happened is that my Blacky (black cat ) had passed on on may 5th so just pet and love him or her and enjoy the years that your blessed to have your pet.

Of course it’s not true. It’s just thought that way, since the cat is Black. Many people believe black means bad luck, as white means purity. Personaly, I love black cats the best. There is no omens or bad luck or superstition.

The belief that black cats are evil came from the medival times when all cats were considered bad. Back then they believed things like cats had healing powers, the glare of a cat could kill a man if it wanted to, but what made people hate cats the most was that they believed that all cats were witches in discuise, especially black ones. If you know anything about medival times you will know that the people back then often burned “witches” at the steak. They did not do this to cats, but they did hunt them. Eventually most of these silly beliefs died away, but one of the few that stayed with us is

some very religious ppl in the early years believed that a black cat was the witch’s pet. so they were afraid of them. they believed that they gave ppl bad luck if you crossed its path. its not true. a black cat is the exact same as any other cat. black cats were judged before given a chance. so you need to know that your black cat will not give you bad luck or whatever. if anyone believes that then you need to tell them what im telling you.

My very favorite cat was black, but she disapeared for months and then our neighbor who lives up the hill from us{ we live in the country) said one day that she had this black cat who had just had kittens in her garage she said the cat had shone up at her house weeks before when I went up to check i knew it was her her fur was short and she had this very faint white spot on her neck and her tail was a little chipped from getting in a fight with a cat that got to close to her kittens that she had when she was at my house. When she had disapeared I was surprised because she had left her kittens behind even though they were eating normal food they were still young. when I found her she had a personality where she didn\\\’t trust humans we think something happened to her to where she got so freaked out and now she doesn\\\’t trust anything except certain cats. I pretty sure shes still alive I know I can\\\’t play with her like I used to but the thought o knowing shes ok makes me feel a lot better!

Some people belive and some don’t. But on haloween night never let your cat out becuase in the cat care book it says people will torcher any color cat becuase they think it’s the witch’s cat.
