Is your cat scared from going up/down a staircase?

no my cats are not many times my cat will
jump from the rails and fall strait down
to the hard floor he has done it many times
though espesialy when he is scared of
whatevers blocking the staircases

I don\\\’t have a staircase to check my cats out on. But I can easily understand that a cat might slip on a wooden staircase and go bumping down the steps, or catch its nails on carpeted steps (I have discovered that retractable nails are not as automatic as I had first thought) and that could be like a human tripping over a toy on the stairs. And either one could easily be scary to a cat.
