you should most likely keep your precious cat AWAY from the snake, or if you want to take a chance, then let them “play” or you could just watch them as they play. Also find out if the Yellow Racer Snake is venomous or not, then play your move!

Its not very funny. If this snake is poisonous get you little kitty and keep her AWAY even if this snake wasnt poisonous or venomous it still could bite your kitty and kill her.

some snakes are venamous and some aren’t. a yellow racer is related to the black racer which is slightly venamous. not enough to kill, but enough to get the wound infected and cause tissue damage. i suggest that you keep her away from that snake and introduce a new friend like a mouse or something. you can buy these at a petsmart or petstore type place and get them for like a dollarr each. just make sure she doesn’t eat it.

if i were you i would not let it go outside for a while and i would call someone to get the snake away from my house. And after the snake was gone i would let my cat back outside.

That is really unusual for a cat to make friends with a SNAKE, and vice versa. But it’s not a good friendship to let your cat make, and you should keep your cat indoors until the snake goes away or something. It’s not good for a cat to be near such an animal. That’s like if a dog became friends with a tiger.
