I know that cats have significantly less taste buds than other animals. They have 473 compared to 1,700 for dogs and 9,000 for humans.
I know that their vision is very different from human vision. For example they don’t see very well close up and they see better in the dark than we do.

Cats have NO sense of taste for sugars and sweet things. The entire cat family from the house cat to the tiger and cheetah have a genetic mutation that has made the sweet detectors in their taste buds non-functional, so they cannot taste sweet things or sugars at all.
This is either a cause or effect of their obligate carnivore status - they are completely indifferent to starches and sugars.
Cats are mostly attracted to food through their sense of SMELL anyway and do not have a strong sense of taste overall, so this is why cats with a stuffy nose (either from an upper respiratory infection or allergies) will often not eat - they can’t smell their food so they can’t tell that it *is* food, for the most part.

Well i know that all white cats are often blind. I also know that calico’s are almost always female and if a calico male is born he is sterile. Let’s see what else….oh yeah, cheetah’s are the only wild cat that purrs and when scared they chirp like a bird. If i’m not mistaken they are also the only cats that’s claws do not retract. If i really think about it i could probably spew out many random facts about cats.

I think you mean deaf, not blind, as blue-eyed white cats can sometimes be blind. This isn't even all or most of the time though, there are many white cats which are not deaf and blindness is rare in cats and not related to color. There are many wild cats that can purr, just not the pantherine cats ("Big Cats" - lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars) which roar instead. So yea...

When i said wild cats i meant big cats...a few wild cats that purr are pumas, mountain lions, servals, and the lynx. It's like this,if they can't roar they purr...if they purr they cant roar. The sound unique to the cheetah is their chirp and it really sounds like a bird...it's really strange to hear coming out of a cat. Damn i was sleepy lol...and yeah i did mean deaf and it's more common than you think. It's not that they're born that way it's just more common for them to go deaf later in life. Just like calico's it's something about their genetics. Genetics are a funny thing. I never knew calico's were pretty much all female til i got one and did some research.

my random fact is that tom cats mostly ones that look like tigers grow bigger than a toy poodle.
i have two toy poodles and a tom cat that is about 6 or 7 months that is already 1 to 2 inches tallerr than my dogs!

I know that cats can’t “see” in complete darkness they need atleast a little bit of light. And cats “see” with their wiskers to help them move along when it’s dark.

Cats purr when they are happy and hiss when frightened or angry. Most people think it is the other way around.
