Night Kitty

1 Answer  |  Asked By: miana_sp   212

Like most cats Hiss is most active and noisey at night time. As soon as she knows we’re in bed, no matter how late or early we might go to bed. So before I go to bed each night I take away her squeaky and jingley toys and put them up. Without the noisey toys it’s really easy to fall asleep. I remember waking up one morning to find she had taken a napkin from the table and shredded it. My point is she swats at everything and if it budges in the slightest it is a toy. It’s really cute to watch her, she plays at all hours of the day. Right now she’s batting her foil-looking ball. Anyways I just wanted to tell you all about last night. Because it was funny, I thought at least. We had some family over and were playing Scattergories. Well after words everyone left. We were tired, it was late. So we left the boards and everything on the floor. But I do manage to put away Hiss’ toys. I got ready for bed, was laying there and about five minutes in… I heard this loud noise like a giant marble across the kitchen tiles. I was thinking, “What did she find this time?” So I got up and checked.. She had moved the Scattergories’ die from the living room into the kitchen and was moving it around the kitchen floor. It was funny, and loud, and really cute at the same time. I love my kitty and she could never make me mad, even though I think she does some of this on purpose sometimes…

I do the same thing i pick up my cat toys at night and put them in there play room and close the door so they can not play at night and keep me up at night.i want my cats to know night time is bed time and day time is play time.well anyways i had a cat peeing on my carpet at night time behind my husbands recliner and i told my vet about it because i was looking for ideas so i could get my cat to stop peeing in my carpet because she was destroying my carpet and my vet told me to lay foil down behind the recliner at night before i go to bed. because cats do not like to walk on foil. so i did. i was laying in bed trying to sleep and i heard rattle rattle rattle and i said now what are these cats doing now. got out of bed to see what they were doing and they were playing with the foil that i laid down on my floor in the living room. they dragged it to the kitchen and was playing with it. it was cute and funny that i could not yell at them. well i found the secret to keep the cats from peeing on my carpet.baby powder. thats right baby powder. try it ,it works. spinkle baby powder in the area were there peeing at and as long as that baby powder is there they will not pee there. i thought that i would tell you my cute story.

Cats are adorable, I can't ever get made at her. Thanks for the baby powder tip. I'll keep that in mind if I ever get another cat.
