Cats ages aren’t as definate as dogs ages in human years. In fact it’s rather complicated.

How long a cat usually lives depends on a few things:
1. How well it is taken care of
2. Its health
3. how much time it spends outside
Depending on this, cats usually live an average of somewhere between 8 and 20 years.

I read somewhere that in the begining of their life 1 human year = about 10 cat years but later on, 1 human year is only equal to about 7 cat years. Then when the cat is really old, 1 human year = 4 cat years. Cats will begin to age more slowly as they get older.
Cats can live up to about 20 years old.
