I read this story about pet transports between the kill and no kill shelters. I was heart warming to know that people will do so much to save the animals. Anyway I have been supporting it. If you are looking to adopt from a shelter and have multiple shelters near you. Try looking at the kill shelters first. Those animals need to get out and be loved before it's too late!

I agree with your comment to the answer Miana_sp. I adopted from a kill shelter and I have a loving cat. (Who is currently sitting on my lap!)
