Somebody pointed out to me that my 9 mnth old cat has a slight twitch in her right pupil. I had never noticed it but now that I compare her to my other cats, it is noticeable, although slight. Then this person said it could mean brain-damage….she seems (behavior-wise)no different to my other cats, except that she is petrified of strangers. A trip to the vet is extremely traumatic for her and she’s come on heat and needs to get spayed. What must I do? I have her in confinement, on my lap, while I work, whilst tom cats are trying to break into my home.

I would highly advise you to have you vet take a look at this because it could be a sign of things to come. It is definatly a neurological symptom, the question is why? Only your vet can advise you on that.
It may be tramatic for hee to make the trip, but it would be more tramatic if this is something that needs treatment and you didn’t have it taken care of.

wrap her in a towel before going into the crate when you bring her to the vet, or something that might smell like you or the house that is comforting. that could help.
