You don’t know if he’s fixed or not? Did you just get him? That is important information to know. If you recently got him and haven’t taken him to the vet yet, do so ASAP. It’s good for your vet to get to know your animal as soon as possible to get acquainted with him and establish a base for any future concerns.

Perhaps you need to separate them for a while. Is she attacking back, or is it one-sided? Slowly re-introduce them to one another under supervised conditions. If one of them is new to the home, do some quick research on how to introduce a new cat into the home. It is amazing how easy it can be to introduce two cats successfully if you take it SLOW.

You also may want to consider getting the nail covers for his claws. Also, make sure you clip them & keep them short.

Good luck with your cats!!

You should really check his surgery records to see if he was neutered or not.If he was’t,I suggest taking him to the vet and getting him neutered.

i have a male cat that I got fixed at about six months, being that he was a stray, we were “guesstimaitng”. My vet said not to get him fixed sooner then 6 months. So i waited. Now, he is still “humping” my 13 year old spayed female. I have read that it may take like 45 days for the hormones to calm down. Some say it is because I waited until he was six months. I am trying to find out how to stop it as I don’t want my old female to get hurt because of his weight and all.
