It shouldn\\\’t be poisonous to your cat. But it might cause some problems. There is a volitile chemical in the adhesive that might make her sick to her stomach. Best case would probably be if she vomits it out. If she doesn\\\’t, and it starts coming out the other end, do not pull it the rest of the way out. Let it come out naturally, or let her pull it out. Tape has sharp edges that could possible cut her, especially if you pulled it the rest of the way out (just like a paper cut). It is also possible that it could combine with a hair ball and cause obstruction (for which a vet might be needed. If she uses a litter box, keep a lookout for problems. The above are just possible problems, a little more likely than your cat being hit by lightning, but not much. I don\\\’t think any of them are likely enough to be worth worrying about.

jpete is right. Let nature take its course, but KEEP AN EYE ON HER. If she becomes constipated, starts vomiting without bringing the tape up, stops eating, or becomes uncomfortable or seems to be in pain, GET HER TO A VET PRONTO. A bowel obstruction is unlikely but it CAN happen and it is fatal if it isn\\\’t treated. Just be vigilant.
Honestly, the chances of an obstruction are low, unless she swallowed a large piece of it whole. If she just chewed up little bits of it, it will probably go right out the other end.
