Revolution & Comfortis. Protect your kitties today!
Revolution is the first-ever FDA-approved, topically applied medication for cats that:
Kills adult fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and prevents flea eggs from hatching.
Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.
Treats and controls ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
Treats and controls roundworms (Toxocara cati) and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme).
COMFORTIS chewable tablets (spinosad) are given orally once a month, at the recommended minimum dosage of 13.5 mg/lb (30 mg/kg) and starts to work in 30 minutes. For maximum effectiveness, administer with food.
Fast acting - starts killing fleas in 30 minutes.
Kills fleas before they can lay eggs.
Give with meals.
Kills 100% of fleas within 4 hours
Once a month application.
The problem with other types of flea medication is they aren’t FDA approved, because all they are is pesticides and don’t need to be at all..
What’s up with Frontline & Advantage, why they may not be working on your pets, for quite some time their have been counterfeits floating around being sold in stores and online. Here’s a link if you want to know more: http://cats.about.com/cs/parasiticdisease/a/conterfeit_flea.htm
