My cat is not eating much when we take her inside to eat and she is geting thin.

I think you should make her go to the vet

She could have worms. When a cat is losing weight, that is a red flag that something is wrong. You need to get her to a vet to be checked out.

If your cat is becoming too thin and refusing to eat, it may well be ill. Lack of appetite alone can mean a lot of different things, some very serious and others easily treatable. You need to have your cat looked at by a veterinarian.

She might be sick because whenever my cats are sick they refuse to eat. I would take her to the vet and for now don’t let her go outside for a while.

If you take it to the vet and the vet finds nothing wrong, you can probably assume your cat is eating elsewhere. It may be hunting and the exercise is getting your cat to a healthier weight (most healthy cats LOOK skinny, but aren’t). If your cat is always outside early in the morning I would guess that it is getting fed by a neighbor who thinks it is a poor stray (and your cat might prefer the taste of your neighbor’s food). I have one cat that likes to eat thirty minutes before I get up and goes to beg from a neighbor who is feeding his cats at that time. All my other cats are willing to wait until 6:30.

Your cat probably has worms. The worms will hook on to her stomach and steal her food to help them grow. They will also make your cat very, very sick. Take your cat to the vet immediatly because worms can be fatal if they are allowed to grow big enough!!!!!

She might be sick and not in the mood to eat so diagnose that and also, try feeding her outside. Also try different food. In any case, a vet would know, their experts and are paid to be so! I gave my answer, it won\\\’t be perfect, but then again I am not a vet, just a life long cat lover. So don\\\’t denote my advice, consider it, and maybe even try it!

why dont u just try giving him different food or maybe someone did something or its his birthday or something and its depressed try playing with it to cheer it up and give it some attention and try changing its food.

How would a cat know it's own birthday? They don't exactly keep calendars. Please don't post nonsense answers for the sake of getting pawpoints.

Maybe it isn’t hungry. This is what i did to my cat to eat his food.
I would give him a cat treat at the bottom of his dfood bowl then give him the bowl of food. He would smell the treat At the bottom and try to eat all of his food. That got him to eating the food i give him because every time i give him food, he thinks there is a treat at the bottom.
You should try that.
Other than that, you should try a different type of cat-food. sometimes that works when you get a good one, like MEOW MIX or FANCY FEAST. Then the cat might eat it.
Or your cat might just want to be stubborn and get whatever it wants. Don’t spoil your cat, but this is JUST A PLAN. You don’t have to do it. Here it is.
Maybe you should try to give your cat WET FOOD. Here are some tipes of WET FOOD.

Purina cat chow
Purina kitten chow
Or you can feed your cat LACTAID. LACTAID is a type of milk that cats can have EVEN if they are LACTOSE AND TOLLERANT. Lactaid is not made with real milk.
