I doubt losing a whisker is a direct result of running around the house too quickly.

Why do you perceive her running like this to be a problem?? It’s great that she’s getting exercise! You want your cat to be active so that she stays healthy and doesn’t get overweight.

she runs like this at night too. we lock her and the other cats in the cellar, but they eat all the food. If we don`t lock her up she will keep us up at night.

you should be happy your cat is this hyper, the best thing a cat can be is hyper, trust me, you don’t want to have a lazy one at home all the time, but about that night running, i think you should ask the vet for a calmer to give your cat at night.

Why would you want to drug your cat??????? Cats are more active during the early evening. You can't just get a cat and expect to change its biological programming so that it's convenient for you.

What time does your cat run around like this? I’m assuming that your cat is doing it in the morning or the nighttime. Those are the times that cats are most active. Also, 30 minutes after your cat uses the litterbox or eats, they become really active for a short while. There is really nothing you can do about this, almost all cats do this. However, if you really want her to stop doing it, you can purchase something called Feliway to help calm here down. (Ask your local petstore if you would like to purchase it.)
