I have 7 week old kittens, and they have really bad diarrhea. What should I give them to stop the diarrhea. I am not sure if it is from the food that I am giving them, or if it was the deworming medicine. Please help!!!

Diarrhea can be deadly in kittens. Especially since your kittens were already underweight. It dehydrates them to the point of death. Diarrhea in kittens should never be taken lightly. It’s a serious life threatening affliction. It only takes a matter of hours for dehydration to kill a kitten. If the diarrhea lasts for more than 24 hours you need to seek the advice of a vet.

And furthermore, why did you give them OTC petstore wormer anyway? Wormer is a poision. A pesticide and I don’t care what the petstore employee’s told you, OTC wormers are not safe. As I told you here: http://www.cats.com/question/health/i-have-kittens-that-i-bottle-feed-but-they-are-still-under-weight/ , you should have sought the advice of the vet before giving underweight underage kittens anything.

it depends what type of food you give to your kittens. it could also be because of the deworming medicine. it would be better to take them to the vet as diarrhea is seriously very bad .

It probably is the de-worming medicine. If they still have diarhea after about 2 or 3 days, you should consider taking them to the vet.
