You should definitely neuter your male to avoid typical “tom” cat problems such as spraying and bad atitude that will arise later. Not to mention neutering your male will help prevent overpopulation of cats because he will not be able to impregnate unspayed females.

Great answer johnisgood2.i agree why breed the animal’s and over populate. that is asking for more problem’s. i have a neighbor that has only one cat and i keep telling her that i now a animal shelter that will give her a discount if you have low income and she does but refuse to get her cat spayed for only $55.00.for the shot’s and dewormed is included.and her cat is alway’s having a new litter and she is alway’s giving away the kitten’s.i think that is wrong.so please get your pet spayed or neutered don’t wait.

You should neuter your cat as soon as possible. Not just because of spraying (that has nothing to do with normal peeing) or behavior, but also because it is dangerous. When un-”fixed” cats are roaming around, toms fight sometimes to the death for the privilege of impregnating a female. ASAP, have him fixed, it is better for you, him, feral cats, and all the unspayed females out there.

Please do not look to KAT for any advice she is not an expert on anything. She is a bored person that comes on cats.com to act like she is a vet. Never ask advice from people in here. I would only ask questions.

Neuter your cat (and that goes for all dogs etc.) unless you are specifically going to breed it for money etc. Because, as Toby66 said, nobody should be born unwanted, only to be killed or cared for improperly.
