I rescued a very pregnant cat from a dangerous situation, I can see the babies move…
I just don’t know when she is due. I found her being swung by the hind legs by a group of kids, she was a stray, so I took her home, she doesn’t trust alot of people but enjoys positive attention. How can I determine how much longer she has before she gives birth, she is huge! But I can’t tell if she is having a large litter or if she is close to delivery.

If you can see tha babies moving… she could have them anytime.
I would advise a vet visit asap to make sure she’s in to condition to have and care for the kittens.

Wow, this is a tough decision.
You should probably get in contact with your local animal shelter and get some advice. The mother will need to be spayed (along with the kittens).
If you surrender her to them, they can give her the care she needs if you’re unsure of the time you can sacrifice to care for her and her litter.
It sounds like she’s going to give birth any time. If she’s inside, give her a box with an old towel… Tuck the box away in your closet or someplace quiet/dark/away from people activity…
Definitely call your shelter first thing tomorrow if you have any doubts though…

if you put your hand on where she is pregnet and if the babies are kicking then she could deliver probably in a week so take her to the vet right away.

when i could see my cats babys move she had them in just 5 minits.GOOD LICK oh and you might want a gluv.

I wanted to let you all know that she had her kittens today, on labor day of all things! 5 Beautiful babies. 3 look like mommy, on is black with a white mask and one is a grey tiger, 2 of them have 6 toes! I am a proud cat owner today! She did so well!
