How old do kittens have to be to have their 1st shots?

I have a litter of kittens, and I wanted to get them their 1st shots before they are given away to a good home. But how old do they have to be and where can I get shots for 5 kittens that are not a lot of money?

Kittens should be 7 to 8 weeks old to have their first shots.

Thanks, I called the vet, and they told me that they have to be 8 weeks of age to have the 1st shots. But thank you for answering me.
