my cat gracies stomach is hard i have to give her adult fiber pills to make her go,this is what the vet told me.what can i do to help her better. i am worried.and she crys most of the time.please help me.

Indeed your poor cat is asking for help. If her stomach is hard, she needs to go to the veterinarian. Fecal impaction can be very hard on cats and the sooner it’s treated, the better. The vet may have to manually remove the fecal matter. Your vet may give her an enema but do not use human enemas on cats.

We have a cat who gets constipated and has to take lacutulose daily. The fiber pills weren’t enough to keep her regular.

Oh poor thing. The cat is wants it to stop. You should take her to the vet, because the hard stomach is not normal. Tell your vet that your cat seems to be uncomfortable with the pills she is taking, and ask if there is any other optians for your kitty to remain happy and feel better. If it is something like fecal impaction your vet may be able to give it an antodote, but not clear it compleately. It may be hard on the cat, but as soon as it is treated the cat will be as good as new, and happy again. Your cat may also be having pain going, so ask your vet about that to.

Well I am not kidding my mom use to be a vet what u have to do is poor ethier apple or prune juice over a vegetable based cat food and if that does not work then u should ask the nurse to give it an x-ray to see if his intestines are tied mabye.
I feel so bad for her Oh and u might not know what this is [i don't] but my mom does, she thinks it might be Darticulitest.
The vet should know.I really hope it works!!!!!!

ohi fell so bad 4 your cat! try this when ur cat crys out go look at her tummy. and if it fells harder than lastttime take her stirght to the vet!!!!! i hate seeing and hearing about cats like that!!! ;(

Did the vet do an xray on her when you took her in last, to make sure it wasn’t something other than constipation?

My cat’s stomach was hard and distended and they had to check her for cancer. It turned out that she had ingested an entire bag of ouchless thick hairbands and had to have them surgically removed. Her stomach had expanded to three times its size and was twisting around the other organs to make itself fit. Ouch.

How long has it been since the vet gave that diagnosis? If enough time has passed for the fiber pills to have begun working, you need to go back and ask for an alternative solution or diagnosis. She sounds miserable - poor girl!!

take her to the vet, and if the vet still says fiber pills with out xrays etc change your vet , this poor baby needs help good luck
