It is because cats are smaller in size and their body is just like a type of elastic band which makes the fit in anything or go through anything

the reason is beacause of their shoulder blades their shoulder blades pop in and out of joints to let them easily slide under doors and stuff

p.s.it dont hurt the cat to slide under stuff
