I’m surprised that the vet who put him down did not tell you. It could be a variety of different things. Allergies, spider bites, a skin disease. Without seeing the bumps or even doing a scraping or biopsy on them, it’s very difficult to tell. Cancer tends to grow bigger and sometimes will bleed. I had a kitty with cancer on her ear. It wasn’t a bump, but a spot that looked like an injury that wouldn’t heal. It turned out so be skin cancer. We had her ear removed and she lived out the rest of her life with no problems. So sorry about your kitty.

that’s terrible! im thinking that bumps on the body might’ve been tumors or cancer. i agree w/ The Cat And His Human cause a cat i knew had breast cancer and they were red bumps. im sorry for your loss. ![]()

I wouldn’t have put it down without seeing if there was any thing to do for it!
