My cat has had hiccups for the last 2 days, on and off. Is this a big deal? Can I help make them go away?

If your cat has the hiccups try feeding the cat smaller meals. If you have more than one cat maybe it is afraid others will eat his food. This may make him try to eat too fast. Hiccups can also look similar to coughing up a hairball. If hiccups last only a few minutes, don’t be too alarmed. If they continue it might be a good idea to call your vet.

I would be concerned if your cat has been hiccupping for 2 days that it may not be hiccups and could instead be some sort of respiratory issue or a blockage.
If it were my cat… I would definatly make a trip tp the vet to be safe.
