cat having having behavioral and medical issues

5 Answers  |  Asked By: Bosco   1

my siamese kitten (about 6 months) is having a few issues. after returning from the vet for daily fluids (2 weeks) due to a kidney problem, he has started to deficate on my bed and urinate on the couch. i’ve caught him several times, grabbed him and placed him outside where his litter box is located. his breath smells horribly and he just seems to sit there and stare into space sometimes. any advice??

This is a health problem. You need to take him back to the vet. The problem hasn’t been resolved. You did say he had a Kidney problem. That will cause a cat to uninate in someplace you don’t want him. Also, the box need to be in an easy to access place for the cat. If it he can’t find his box he will use anything he can find.

Well, one: your litter box should be inside your HOUSE!
( If you can’t stand the smell, I suggest you get Glade Lilac Spring.)
Do you think your kitten is going to go outside during a snowstorm to pee?
Two: it could be the medicine.
Three: most Siamese cats at that age either sleep with their eyes open or daydream alot.

Take that cat back to the vet for further examination. I agree with kaylamae100 your cat’s litter shouldn’t be outside.

Or you could buy one of the Cat Genie’s on the ads here for inside.
