my cat lucky’s eye is always closed and when i clean his eye the next day its back to how it was before and his ears are always backwards until i clean the eye….is this because he gets in fights or is it a health issue??? do i have to take him to the vet?

I would say your cat has a health issue. I would take him to the vet. Injury to the eye from a fight would need to be check by the vet. There can be a varity of things that can go wrong with your cats eyes. Cats don’t have as many problems as dogs but they do have problems. See the web site I’ve listed below.

It could be a respiratory infection, cats that are allowed outside can get this and one of the signs is stuff in the eyes and ears, you need to take the cat to the vet and have him checked out. Hope everything turns out alright.
