A question for the vets or other pet professionals. Is there a website that serves as a central clearing house for cat statistics? In particular, I am interested in the incidence of rabies, parvo (distemper) etc in certain areas.
If not a website, a mailing address for such an agency?
Keywords: Disease statistics

Try The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC websites). You might have to adjust your search for example: CDC Statistics on Rabies and CDC Statistics on Parvo.

The CDC only had info on zoonotic diseases (such as rabies), nothing on animal-specific diseases, and no statistics that I could find. Except (confirmed) rabies affects less than one percent of pets (I assume (0%)indoor and (over 1%) outdoor pets) and less than ten percent of wild animals. I guess I will have to try several search engines and better keywords.

Parvovirus is specific to dogs, so you won’t find info on that (Feline distemper is a different virus altogether). Otherwise I second Catsofmany’s CDC recommendation for Rabies statistics. You might also try the World Health organization for Rabies world-wide.
