maybe u should take ur cat to get stitches, and keep him on the medication if he does get stitches. keep him in side until the wound recovers and then go get his shot

My cat has a wound aswell, and I asked before about a lump, the next day he gets a wound, he got it cos he got caught by a wire and it cut his throat, now he has a deep wound, the vets wife gave us some antibiotic spray to use and its healing and hes recovering, but i am SOOO WORRIED ABOUT HIM ASWELL! so really i cant answer your question because i have the same problem with my cat, sorry for not beingg useful.
