Hey guys, Happy Halloween
Yesterday there was that feral black cat that came into the garden. It was friendlly and i fed her and all of that. But whts concerning me is that she has a tiny bald patch on her head and bald patches sround her neck. But there was no black spots.
What could the patches be the cause of ????
And what should i do if i want to house her ???????

It could also be Sarcoptic Mange and it is highly contagious. Either way, if it\\\’s ring worm or mange, the cat needs to see a vet and get the proper medication. Wash your hands well after touching her and keep her away from other cats until she\\\’s been treated.

Is the cat thin? It could also be as simple as a poor diet if this is a stray. Did you check for fleas? Fleas will cause hair loss.

Just another option. the cat could have been abuseed and not taken care of, and got sick. neck = chain leash

A small bald spot the size of a pencil eraser is probably from a tick that has already dropped off. The ones around the neck are probably from scratching to get rid of fleas.

it could be fleas, ticks or some other parasite trying to bite the cat, and then the cat violently scratched them off. or it could be that the cat was abused or in a fight with a dog or another cat. it could be any number of things!

Try to catch the cat and take it to the vet. It could have ring worm or it could simply could have gotten in a fight. But the best thing to do would be to take the cat to the vet.
Hope this helps.
