Has anyone given their cat rawhide bones/chews or pig ears? I can’t even pet my ferals, much less brush their teeth. I’m wondering if one of these would be helpful for their teeth?

Chews meant for smaller toy-breed dogs would probably be okay *if* they cats will actually chew on them. Most dogs like to chew but only some cats do so it really just depends if they will even use them or not.
Honestly there may not be too much you can do about the ferals teeth since you can\\\’t handle them. If they hunt for themselves, they probably eat the small bones of the mice and birds they catch which will help keep their teeth in good shape.

Most of them are ten to sixteen months old, and only one ever had any problems with her teeth. That was when she lost a baby tooth molar(?) on each side, and couldn\\\’t eat the dry food without pain. Crushing the food and getting it wet for a day fixed that. I learned long ago that preventive dentistry is as important as preventive medicine, and wanted to look into possibilities long before any problems developed.
