I have two lovely cats, Pokey and Blackie… But I Have NOT dewormed them, I have been kissing and holding, and hugging…and i worrying if i may catch worms from them????????? please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can most defeintly catch worms from any animal. Usually not by hugging or kissing though.
Must worms are fecal oral- which means animals fecal to your mouth which is easier then it sounds. cat has the eggs of a worm on its paw and you touch his paw then touch your mouth- but it is pretty rare. The best thing to do is have your cat tested and keep them free of fleas. You can however buy dewormer from any feed store-not pet store- you would look for STROGID plus for must worms and DRONTAL for tapeworms. The worm you usually see in stool is a tape worm and that humans can get (and most have) it is transmitted to the animal via fleas and then to the owner.
