It depends. But most cat food contains at least some meat, or form of meat. By form of meat I mean it might be meal.
Most cat foods contain the vitamins and nutrients that cats require, especially taurine.
Some cat foods contain good byproducts (like liver) and some contain unnamed ones which are bad (could be beaks, feet, who knows?)
Many brands also contain grains such as corn wheat or rice (bad).
Most contain some type of gelling agent to hold it all together.
And then there’s all the items I would just refer to as chemicals. No clue what they are or why they’re there.

Ditto what Beastmaster said. It totally depends on the food.
I choose to make my own cat food so that I know exactly what my cats are getting.

You can read the back of the package, and there should be a list of ingredients. If there is none, you should probably switch cat foods because there is obviously somthing in the cat food that the producers don’t want you to know about.

It usually tells you on the can. Not all cat foods are the same. Some have different flavours and such. There are also many things that can harm your pet. You might of seen the big thing about this ingredient in cat and dog food. I’m pretty sure it’s called wheat gluten. You can also go to websites that tell you what ingredients to watch out for in pet food.
