There could be any number of issues if your cat won\\\’t eat. Like jpete46 said, if the appetite is just down for a day or two it may not be such a big deal. How long has it been going on? Did you recently change its food? What are you feeding it? The simplest explanation could be that the cat just doesn\\\’t like what you\\\’re feeding it. Make sure you\\\’re using a high quality food. If you feed your cat kibble, try coaxing it to eat some wet food.
If it continues, you should definitely consult your vet. Your cat could have problems in its mouth and experience pain when it\\\’s eating, or it could be any number of other internal issues. At the end of her life, my dog had cancer polyps near her rectum. It hurt her terribly to defecate, so she stopped eating. We had to put her down because she would have died of starvation within a week or two. 
Always stay familiar with your cat\\\’s eating and litter box habits. A change in those things can indicate medical problems. Hopefully in your case it\\\’s just a matter of disliking what\\\’s on the menu!!

One or two days with little or no appetite is OK. If your cat tries to eat, but can\\\’t, it may have problems with its mouth. If it doesn\\\’t even try within three days, it may be sick, and should be brought to a vet for a diagnosis. Same for problems with the mouth.

If something has happened recently to stress your cat out then they will stop eating, also change in seasons makes their focus change too. I have a cat that hardly eats at all in the summer and eats a lot in the winter. It is not unusual if there has been some kind of lifestyle change, did you get another pet? babysit one maybe? Did someone bring a dog to your house and it barked at the cat? these are all stressful things that could cause lack of appetite in your feline.

mabey yourcat needs more varioty try a different food if he still doest eat call a vet one of my cats has the same problem

bring him to the vet.if the vet says hes ok get him on a fatty food that he\\\’ll eat(best place to get food is pet food express.wellness is a good food)
