What is the best brand of wet food and the best brand of dry food?
I feed my cats a diet of both wet food and dry food. What are the best brands in each? Brands that I can get in Canada

Ooh, Canada. I’m afraid I can’t help you as I’m not familiar with what’s available there. But since it’s really just really northern North America (j/k) it’s possible that some of the same brands will be available to you. If you go to the websites most of them have store locators so you can find out if they’re sold in your area.

Dry: My personal picks are Wellness Core, Innova Evo or Nature’s Variety Instincts. A new line that looks decent is Merrick’s B.G. (Before Grain). I think you can get Eukanuba in Canada and my vet says it’s an excellent food. His dogs and cats have always eaten it and have lived long and healthy lives.

Well my cat Sophie prefers dry Purina Cat Chow Indoor Cat Mix and my cat Phoebe likes wet Friskes canned food. Both cats are really healthy and have really shiny and soft coats so I’m guessing their food is good for them.

ok, i work at PROFEED we sell lots of different cat and dog and many other species food. THE VERY BEST stuff we (and anyone else relaly for that matter) is EVO cat (wet&dry)and raw food (such as raw meat). Cats are NOT i repeat NOT supposed to have grains or any kind of herbivorous food. I’m trained by the best. Trust me.

I use Royal Canin - I believe the brand is European, but they carry it at most pet stores here in the States. My vet recommended it when I got my first kitten. She’s a longhair breed, and it has kept her coat absolutely lovely over the years. She’s been a healthy, happy little girl!

Meow Mix isn't a very good brand, it is grain based. People buy it because it's cheap and the commercials are cute but it's not high quality.
