Generally speaking wet food is better. Not only is the extra moisture of great benefit, but it tends to have less distressing ingredients due to the differences in how they’re made.
I say generally speaking because of course ingredients vary. If you compare something like canned Whiskas to dry Evo, Evo is going to come out the winner because it has much better ingredients. But there I’m comparing the worst food to one of the best dry foods. There isn’t going to be a clear winner in every case.

Wet food for the most part is better if its a good brand. My 2 cats just won’t eat it. I’ve tried and they turn their nose up at it. I’ve also had a cat that would get the runs if you fed her wet food. I guess it really depends on the cat.

My Vet has said dry food is better, but he also has said that she is overweight. Dry has worked very well for my cat, she seems to like it so far.

dry cat food is much better for cats. my cats love it and choose it over wet food but you can give it to them it wont hurt them.give it to them like a treat. i give it to my cats 3 times a week.

I almost never give my cats wet food because it isn’t as good for them and is a hassle to buy a bunch af cans every week so we just leave dry food available for them all the time. Maybe your cat doesn’t enjoy its food very much. If you keep experimenting with diferent inds until you fing one that your cat likes. And don’t let your cat eat your dogs food because it is bad for them.

I've heard that dry food is better. Cats can keep their teeth cleaner.
