i have a cat which i call momma….well she had 4 babies 3 of them has passed and one is still alive well ever since the other babies died the momma seem to not want to take care of the the baby thats still here we have had to force her to feed him he was doing fine until set 7th of 2008 he is weaned today and is not doing very well the momma won’t feed him and he is really week he was breathing very shallow but as soon as i fed him some milk he perked up and is resting but still not out of the woods yet. he was doing fine before but now he’s not and i’m not sure what i can do for him i am really worried. i need help so i can make my little guy feel better could someone please give me some advice i would truely appreciate it

You need to go to wal-mart and buy a bottle for kitten’s made by Hartz and Milk Replacement for Kitten’s made by Hartz.it is a powder mixture that you mix with water.measurement’s is on the can.you will have to be the kitten’s mom now and feed it from the bottle.it will need feed every 3 to 4 hour’s this is important to get these thing’s to try to save your kitten.Good Luck.have any question’s send me a message.

well i have some bad news my little boy passed on last night he tried so hard to fight….i did everything you told me to do….he just got sick to fast but i want to thank you both for the advice i truely appreciate it very much….

Oh that’s too bad. Sometimes after a while your cat can get sick of feeding its offspring. Like my friend’s dog had puppies and after a little bit Mollee (the mom) got fed up of them and so when the puppies came to suck on her nipples…lol…she’s just walk away. The puppies would be dragged across the floor. Your cat obviously needs more milk so go and get a milk replacement or contact your local vet.

The mother cat knew that he was ill, so she didn’t feed him.
I understand .I had the exact same problem. 4 kittens , 3 died and the last one wouldn’t drink and the mother didn’t help.He also died about two days ago.
