What do you mean by “hold on”? Before they die?
Depends on the cat. Fat cats that are denied food will get fatty liver disease and can die after three days, but not from strarvation, from the fatty liver disease.

omg , really im not sure but wen we put cat on a diet an olny feed him day an night he was actin like he was bout to died, but im sure it deoends on wat type of cat it is.
