Hi, is ok to feed your cat milk?

Cow milk is not good for cats. Milk from cows is very different from milk from mother cats. Cats are lactose intollerant - their bodies cannot digest lactose. But, bacteria and fungi can and use the lactose to reproduce by the billions. The cat\\\’s body does not like that, so it tries to get rid of them using diarrhea, which not only gets rid of bacteria and fungi, but also gets rid of important nutrients and fluids. A very small amount occassionally, especially as a hairball remedy, would not hurt. Some cats do learn to connect the milk and diarrhea, and won\\\’t drink milk. But most cats don\\\’t learn.

jpete is right. Their tummies just don\\\’t do well with cow\\\’s milk. Stick to a kitty formula and always have fresh water for them!

after they stop nursing they shouldnt have milk

I don`t think it is ok to feed them milk but I still do to my cat and now after I read about it, I won`t any more.

I hope it\\\’s ok, I feed my cats milk too!

I prefer to soak a chimichanga in an energy drink and fire at them with a tennis ball machine. They see to prefer that over milk.

I feed my cat milk and it\\\’s fine. What do you think they drank from thier Mothers.(MILK) The only difference is your is from a cow.
