Can a cat eat butter?

A little butter once in awhile is okay. Some people use it as a hairbell remedy.

Like catsofmany said, some people use it as a hairball remedy. It coats the ingested hair and allows it smoother passage through the digestive tract. As a general rule of thumb, I wouldn\\\’t allow my cats access to\\\”people\\\” food - period.

It is a little is okay but butter isnt super good for cats so you shouldnt feed it to your cats on daily basis.

Butter has some kind of oil type stuff. oil causes hair fall for cats. a little butter can do no harm, but try not to feed your cat. I\\\’ve never in my life heard of a cat who even tasted butter.
