No, sorry. Meow Mix is a low quality food. The truth is, anything you can buy at the grocery store is low quality.

I don’t know what your age or financial situation is, so I’m just going to tell you the best that you can do, and you follow as much of that advice as you can.

The best food for cats of any age is a properly balanced diet of raw meat. Want to learn more? http://runeamok.multiply.com/journal/item/16/HOW_TO_GET_STARTED_FEEDING_RAW

Next best is a grainless canned food. Suggested brands are: What to feed:

Next are grainless dry foods: The best of the worst - dry foods: My personal picks are Wellness Core, Innova Evo or Nature’s Variety Instincts. I agree with some of the foods listed here but not all. I am happy to review ingredient lists if requested: http://cats.about.com/cs/nutrition/tp/premdrycatfood.htm

Dry food isn’t a good choice for any cat - it can lead to a number of different health issues. But it’s better than starvation. And it doesn’t clean the teeth.

I forgot to mention that you don't need to buy "kitten" food. That is a meaningless label, and with the better foods you don't need to worry about it.
