After the cat vomitts the hair ball that is also causing the cat to lose iron which is normal. But you also need to give the cat and product called Nutri-Cal or one like it which replaces the iron that cats need.

When cats lick them selves, hair get trapped on the small combs which are on their tounges. The combs are pointed in a direction that the hair only comes of by being swallowed. Hair, of course is not very digetable, so it’s got to come out some how. Since it can’t be digested, it won’ go through the intestines, therefore, it can’t come out in the form of dung. So instead, it has to go out the same way that it came in.
Hair balls are very natural, so don’t worry about it! There are certain types of cat food that help the cat digest hair, so that it won’t be such a problem!
