All animals shed some. It’s a way of keeping the fur or hair healthy, by dropping old fur/hair and growing new fresh fur. Even animals with feathers or scales shed, though it is called “molting” with these kinds of creatures. Most animals shed twice a year and it is seasonal and caused by the changing weather.

they do it when its hot because-they cant keep all there fur in hot places!,they will get to hot,thats why they shed in hot places
