I’ve had my cat for four months now and I have grown tired of it, I want it dead by next week, rehoming it would be impossible cause it’s fat and always jumps on the counters and steals my cookies. I don’t want to shoot it cause that would be mean, or drown it, too much effort, putting it down isn’t even worth it and shelters are crowded enough as it is. I’ve tried strangeling it but it got away. Please help!!!

Don’t kill the poor thing! If you don’t want him/her anymore you should give him away or send him to a no-kill animal shelter. One more cat in an animal shelter won’t hurt, especially if he’s going to eventually be sent to a good home to a loving owner. Jumping on counters and stealing food is in a cat’s nature. They’re natural hunters.
You could remedy the counter-leaping and food-pilfering behavior by buying a spray bottle and spraying him with water (only water) whenever he tries anything funny. He’ll still try to attempt it, but a lot less frequently than now.
Plus, four months isn’t enough time to adjust to a new indoor cat. Cats are friendly, furry companions that you have to adapt to. If you haven’t already killed him, you’ll be glad you didn’t in a few years when he keeps your feet warm at night or he bats at some dangling yarn.

You now, I find it confusing that normal people continue to give this asinine freak of nature the time of day by answering his/her stupid questions time after time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not answering this simpletons unintelligent questions, I just thought that it would be a good idea to take this time during one of his/her foolish and immature questions to try advise every normal human being here not to waste their time and throw any more bones to this dog by answering his/her senseless issues.
For whatever reason, this poor lowlife is obviously trying to get people who appreciate the Cat species upset and defensive. This \”waste of skin” excuse of a person was clearly either dropped on his/her head at a very young age (probably during infancy) or made a habit out of eating dried paint chips early in his/her age. In addition, it seems that this \”person\” just never out grew the taste of the stuff and obviously still enjoys it. We all must excuse him/her (or at least try) and pardon the obvious vacancy of his/her cranium.
Hopefully some day, this jackass will walk into a café and order a coffee unknowingly spiked with an unhealthy dose of paint chips as a debt to society. This will eventually allow all the cats of the world the opportunity to piss on his/her grave.
He/she will probably follow my comment here with some stupid and silly remark, and then I’ll smile, maybe even laugh to myself and think “Yeah, I guess I got to him/her…I feel better now”. One more thing, your probably wondering who spike his/her coffee with the chips? Maybe it was me; maybe it wasn’t ….who cares? What’s done is done. Society debt…..paid in full. Nuff said.
