i think sometimes kitten do have to leave their parents but not all the time.

Well, after my cat Lucy had kittens we kept one and Lucy grew to (sadly) hate that kitten. She now spends most of her time as far away from her kitten as possible so I don’t think cats have to leave their mothers but they usually do.
