I know very few cats who are made \\\”happy\\\” by a bath… Granted there are a few who love water, but far more who will put up quite a fight.
Unless you have a good reason to give your cat a bath (flea ridden & in need of a flea \\\”dip\\\”, gets into something excessively dirty, is ill and can\\\’t clean itself, etc.), you probably don\\\’t need to. Since it\\\’s a kitten, though, you may want to try slowly introducing the idea of a bath/water. It\\\’s a lot harder to bathe an adult cat if they\\\’ve never experienced it as a kitten.

It is not bad cats just do not like it.Cats hate to be bathed. But after awhile (A few bathes) most cats get used to it.

The first and only time i bathed my cat was because she fell in a paint bucket. If your cat really, REALLY needs it, then go ahead. But it\’s a rather painful experience, so if you just want to give your cat a bath to \’see how it goes\’ i don\’t recomend it.
