I was going to pick my daughter up from her cousin’s house and someone has five kittens in a box and literally throws them on the street.

If they get caught doing that in our state or someone reports them for doing that, they would be up on charges. Sadly, the world is careless about cats. And many other animals suffer the same fate in the hands of cold, hearted idiots. I hope you picked them up and took them to a shelter where they would be safe.

Well, the world is a terrible place. People are abusing animals everywhere. One thing to do is report it to a nearby animal shelter or pound. Someone there might be able to help.

There are so many sick people out there today. that it is unreal.that is being so cruel to a animal. i have a cat that has no tail.let me tell you why.my neighbor and i was talking outside in my yard and a car pulled in this side road and didn’t see us there.he pulled in to were we could not see a plate number.but when he back out there was a box sitting there and we walked up to it once the car has lefted and there were three kitten’s in this box with bloody rag’s and three cat tail’s in there. i broke down and cryed.i took the cat’s to the vet and only one survived and you know were she is today.WITH ME.she is doing great. she is 11 year’s old,spay and has her shot’s.she is my heart and soul. all my kitty’s are.anybody that can hurt a animal is heartless and cruel.

Thank You for the comment's.my cat is doing great.without a tail my cat has no balance to hop in a high window.she will meow for me to put her in the window.well i had a bay window put in special for her to see out the window.it is low to the floor so she can get in it.my cat's are like my kid's.i will do special thing's for them like i would for my kid's.

We have a pair of yellow tiger twins that were found by our police department in a box on the side of the road during their midnight shift. There were 3 but the dispatcher adopted one. They couldn't find a home for the other two so we took them. One is cross eyed and the other's lip sags. We're not sure if it was trauma from being thrown out in the box or not that caused their defects. They're 16 pound cats now and they adore each other. They eat together, sleep together and clean each other constantly. I'm really glad we didn't separate them. Sadly, parents do not teach children to respect life...that animals are not play toys...and that when you adopt a pet...it's for life... One of our cats was going to be shot because the woman didn't want him anymore. She had grown up being taught that is how you get rid of a cat when you don't want it and she truly felt she was doing the cat a favor. Better than throwing it out, she said. We have another that was tossed into the garbage at 3 weeks old after being mauled by another animal. The owner's just threw him away rather than spend money to try to save him. He was found by Animal Control and taken to our local (no kill) shelter. He was paralyzed and wore a neck brace to support his head. It took weeks and weeks before he was able to take his first steps...using his front feet he inched along - dragging his back legs and went right toward my daughter. The shelter asked if we would take him because they worried about someone getting him that would let him go outside. He regained the use of his legs but still has some stiffness in his neck so he can't groom his back. So we brush him every day. So sad that animals are treated this way. We have a Persian that was found by Animal Control -abandoned at 6 weeks. Sick, matted and flea infested, skin and bones. I'd love to get my hands on the people that do this!

oh the poor cats i dont know but when i give away cats i give them air water food and stuff i would NEVER do that to a cat.
