I had a neighbor with a belled cat. He was outdoors, so they wanted the birds to have a good-sporting chance… He once got his collar off, chewed the bell off and swallowed it.

He was okay, but I suppose it’s a valid risk. Rare, but valid.

They can also get caught on things… is it an outdoor cat?

Yeah it is ok I would recamend that if she is an outdoor cat so when you need her to come inside you can here your cat with the bell collar

having a bell is pretty good for cats. first, it kind of scares away birds, but only if it is very loud. hey are very heavy and annoying to the cats, and everytime the cat moves, an annoying sound follows.

Yes of course it is is great fun for a cat! And it will also protect the cat itself, that may sound stupid but sometimes its very true!
At a kittens age he/she will just play with it! But when the kitten gets older he/she will start to ignore it more and more and get used to it!
